Both formats launch directly from Laganas Beach; the sand is firm enough for wheeled trolleys, and the gradient is gentle enough that boats can be walked into knee-deep water. Fuel is included in guided tours and charged separately — typically 20 to 30 euros — for self-drive hires. The rental zone operates under National Marine Park regulations that prohibit anchoring within 300 metres of turtle sightings and limit engine speed to three knots inside designated swimmer zones.
